Case Studies in SharePoint Dashboards

WSS SharePoint Dashboards: Hands-On Workshop is a continuation of the SharePoint Dashboard Series started on September 16, 2008.

In this workshop, dashboard parts demo'ed in the September 16 presentation will be created and installed in your own, private SharePoint sandbox provided by EndUserSharePoint.com. Dashboard parts covered in this workshop will include:

  • The Graphics Menu
  • Random Quote Generator
  • My Task Assignments with Visual Status Bars and High Priority Markers
  • Quote of the Day
  • Contact Information
  • LyteBox for Opening Transparent Windows

Registration in this workshop includes a SharePoint sandbox for you to test your new web parts, downloadable and configurable web parts for inclusion on your site, hands-on labs that include use of the default web parts in WSS SharePoint for creating dashboards, and live, hands-on instruction.

Registration is extremely limited. Only 20 seats are available for this workshop so that each participant gets individual attention. Please register early.

"I liked a lot your focus on what is available out-of-the-box in SharePoint and how do you leverage it in very creative ways. Please go on!" -- Claudio [Case Studies in SharePoint Dashboards]

"Instead of another tour of the kitchen, we get to see somebody cook !!!" -- George [Case Studies in SharePoint Dashboards]

"This was one of the best training sessions I have attended. It delivered a lot of powerful information yet was simple to follow and participate in. I can’t wait for the next class!" -- Heidi [The Fundamentals of SharePoint Lists and Libraries, Online]

"......very professional work. The workshop format with the hands-on lab made the 3 hour webconferencing event a valuable experience for me." -- Urs [The Fundamentals of SharePoint Lists and Libraries, Online]

"What I got out of it the most was by far the use of Task Lists, that was exceptional ! I had no idea that they could be that useful. I’m planning on importing many of my spreadsheets into the site, including our business plan." -- Erik [The Fundamentals of SharePoint Lists and Libraries, Online]
